Everyday cleaning
Vacuum often and dust mop to keep grit and abrasives off your floor. Blot spills immediately. Use a spray solution of hardwood floor cleaner; never pour cleaner directly onto the floor. Do not buff, wax or polish, use abrasive cleaners or wet mop.
Protect your finish
Use soft protectors under chairs and furniture. Place mats inside and outside entrances and around sinks or dishwashers. Avoid rubber mats or dense backings that restrict airflow and trap moisture. Keep pets’ nails trimmed and avoid spike-heeled or sports shoes.
A healthy home environment
Maintain indoor humidity between 30% and 50%. Rearrange rugs and furniture periodically so your floor ages evenly. Follow the specific manufacturer’s care instructions for your selected flooring.
